CMZ Ta Series 5 axis Turning/Milling
CNC Multi-Axis, Twin Spindle, Twin Turret Turning Centres

The Nakamura Tome TW/ WT range of CNC Turning Centres operated by LMS Precision are supported by FMB Turbo Magazine bar feeds with a maximum bar diameter of 65mm. Driven tooling to both turrets (‘C’ axis to both spindles) and 2 machines have ‘Y’ axis for drilling and milling 40mm either side of centre line.

Star SR-20RIII

The Star SR-20RIII sliding headstock lathe offers the very latest in technology, the Star SR-20RIII is highly suited for medical and other industries having the capability to enhance production and accuracy for medium complex components. With the latest Fanuc 30is control coupled with ‘Star proprietary’ Motion Control’ software it makes this machine extremely productive.

Star SR-32J

LMS Precision use the well-proven Star ‘SR’ series of CNC Sliding Head Lathes. The high-pressure coolant systems increase efficiency by increasing tool lifetime . Designed to maintain accuracy and tolerances during long runs — ideal for medium-to-large batch production.

CNC Twin Turret, Twin Spindle, Automatic High-Speed Gantry Loading Turning Centre

Our Takisawa TT200G has a maximum chucking and turning diameter of 160mm, a turning length of 100mm and individual component weight of 4KG. Twin-linked Fanuc 21iT Control allows individual programming and chuck indexing for irregular shapes for shorter lead times on volume production.

CNC 2-Axis Turning

At LMS Precision we use 2 Takisawa ‘TC’ range machines for 2-Axis turning of billet material. Capable of manufacturing highly accurate turned components with diameters of up to 12 inches and a lean component of 300mm.
